About Nick
My name is Nick Brosnahan and I work for Apple writing the software than runs iCloud.
I was made in Japan, grew up in Normal, Illinois, traveled around the world when I was ten, lived in Shanghai for two years, went to college at Dartmouth, and I’ve been wandering around Silicon Valley since 1992.
I would love to be able to write about what I do on a day-to-day basis, but unfortunately Apple has an explicit policy against this, so I really can’t say too much about what I do. Rest assured that when using iCloud, you are, at least in part, hitting software that I am responsible for.
I will still endeavor to write about interesting things while avoiding the wrath of The Man.

You can find parts of me pretty much everywhere:

There are more every day. It’s almost a second job to keep up with new social sites. Try “nbrosnahan” if you find one I didn’t list.
